Suntans, Sunbeds and the associated dangers

People with white skin often like to have a suntan. It is often considered to make people appear more attractive or look healthier. This is often what motivates people to sit for long hours in the sunshine. It is possible to get a tan without sitting in the sun. This is usually done by using a spray on tan that stains the skin, or by using a sunbed.

Look at the facts about the associated  dangers of using a sunbed.

To think about:

What is it that motivates people to want to have a suntan? Do you think sunbeds should have stronger health warnings with them, or should be banned altogether? How would you justify your response to this question?
